Looking for table stand wheel shims BT3100

I finally purchased my new BT3100 yesterday, and HD gave me a set of wheels to install on the side of the stand. Once I got home however, and talking to a friend of mine who has the same saw, I noticed that he had shims that went between the angled leg and the wheel mount. Does anybody here have those shims and are not using them ? I'll gladly buy them from you and pay postage. I'm also looking for a dado throat plate as well as a zero clearance throat plate for my 3100. The HD I bought the saw from had never heard of the accessory kit which is why they gave me a set of wheels (to shut me up I guess lol) While I'm at it, if anybody has the router kit and not using it, I may be interested in purchasing that as well so that I can set up an old Craftsman router to it. After reading this, maybe I should just find a HD that sells the accessory kit lol. Anyway, if any of you have these pieces that you think you won't use, let me know.
The saw is still in it's box in my garage, and I'll wait to find the shims before attempting to set the saw up.
    Thanks
    Ray

As the wheels don't touch the floor when the saw is set up to use, it's very easy to add the shims and the wheels to the stand after the saw is assembled.
Then you can use your saw to make a set of shims!
I never liked that arangement though; I eventually got a mobile base for my BT.

Your best bet is to pick up a Herc-U-Lift Plus at HD, about $30. You'll find lots of tips here for the install. Its far and away superior to the Ryobi castors.

My recommendation is to make another plan regarding those casters. The casters are the weakest link in the whole BT3k design. If you mount them you are basically forced to use the rails to tilt the saw up for moving. Usint the rails for this purpose is definitely not recommended as it can cause them to go out of alignment. There have been some other clever ideas for a handle afixed to the side of the saw for this purpose.

A much better idea would be a build base cabinet or build/buy a mobile base. Many base cabinets can be found on this site for inspiration. Mobile bases can be found for about $40 at HTC http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?familyid=5331, Rockler http://www.rockler.com/findit.cfm?page=2383 and others. I use the Wood Mag mobile base design for my tools, and am happy with that. http://woodstore.woodmall.com/woodstore/roltoolbas.html

        Good Luck,
