10 minutes is all it took. 10 minutes to shut the water off, bleed the line, strip it down, flip it around reassemble verify and bring the water back on.... Now LOML won't scream when the water gets HOTTER when she turns the handle to the blue arrow...

For what its worth, I keep a toilet wax ring on hand at all times.... it also doubles as screw lube ;-)

Funny thing about wax for woodworking and screw lube etc... When we went to the Renaissance Festival (took nieces and nephews...) we stopped in one of those candle maker shops, I snagged a couple of loaves of just plain old bees wax. They were cheaper than the bees wax sticks that Woodcraft sells, and much larger. Same thing so why not? Okay except for the patchouli smell of the proprietor... :-P

Smell is worth the savings! Loaves sound like 1lb bricks and if you snagged pure beeswax in that qty for a good deal, its worth the temporary olfactory displeasure

I put them on the scale. 8oz mini loaves, $1.75 each. Pure beeswax, no additives. They sell it for folks to make their own soaps and etc, but it works great for the shop! And hey, it was a good excuse to walk around all day drinking beer...

That's really good, a quick search shows the going rate to be about $12-13 lb
