    Window Installation Update

I just finished the front windows (the last of 21) and did some trim and painting. The first picture is after the windows were in and the exposed brick was the lower fascia. The second picture, I installed T-111 panels under the windows to cover the brick and painted. LOML loves it.

I like the improvement. Very simple and clean. Was the existing brick real brick or just a thin facade? Did you demo it out or just overlay it?

That looks nice. Now all you need are a few bird feeders.

The brick is the wall, so it was to stay, considering budget and time. We were in a quandary of what to do about the look. There is also a section to the right of the door with 3 sets of windows and brick below. The far set of windows in the picture was in a carport enclosure, and there was no brick below. In addition to all that, the far set of windows finished higher above the ground than the other two areas. So in order to make the front of the house look straight and have it look uniform, I installed all the same height windows, and covered the brick with the T-111 and added it to the first set of windows.
