How to repair a sticky door after painting?

Finished painting entry door from garage into the kitchen 2 months ago with latex paint and continues to stick. (have to pull on the door knob hard).

Is there an easy cure?, WD40?

    thanks,

sounds like it needs to be shaved a bit because of the paint buildup.....but you could try a bit of past wax and see if that helps

or wait for a cool, dry day, the door will shrink a little as heat and humidity make then expand.

Shoulda fixed it before painting. Yeah, I know, it didn't stick then.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

        repair sticking door

Probably the best solution is to take the door down, remove the hinges and
shave/plane a couple of thousands off that side and re-install the hinges
and rehang the door, that should cure the sticking problem. eezlock

You didn't say where it was sticking (if you know).

assuming the door is "larger" due to addition of latex paint...
