    So, my toaster oven died...

My six yeard old $30 Black and Decker Spacemaker toaster oven died recently--at least the upper heating element did. I figured I would just go out and buy a new one, but NO...B&D stopped making the Spacemaker toaster oven : (

So, anyone ever repair a bad heating element in one of these things? I know they are not meant to be repaired at this price, but I really can't spare the counter space, and the kids hate chicken nuggets from the microwave--and anyone with a 5 year old and a 2 year old knows just how important chicken nuggets are...

Did the element end burn off at the place where it hooks on? If so it is possible to use a couple pair of pliers and gently pull an end over to hook up. Bill
