I installed a couple of automatic timers for my outside lights. They are the kind that replace the light switch. One light is fine and the other has a slight, but noticable flicker about every second. I rechecked the wiring, but it is still doing it. Am I missing something? or do I have a bad timer?

Flickering Light

Switch the Automatic timers (new switches) and see if the flicker follows the Auto switch.
If the flicker follows the swap, then the chances are that the Automatic Timer/Switch is bad.Stop thinking why you can't and Start thinking how you CAN!
