    Flickering Light

I installed a couple of automatic timers for my outside lights. They are the kind that replace the light switch. One light is fine and the other has a slight, but noticable flicker about every second. I rechecked the wiring, but it is still doing it. Am I missing something? or do I have a bad timer?

Switch the Automatic timers (new switches) and see if the flicker follows the Auto switch.

If the flicker follows the swap, then the chances are that the Automatic Timer/Switch is bad.

Did you check the wires to make sure they are clean, and no coating is piniched / blocking a good contact. Many times I will cut the end off, and strip the coating back for a new clean end.

Flickering lights is usually a problem with the neutral. It also will cause bulbs to blow out fast.

Sounds like the timer to me.
