What is Tiger Plywood?

How well does it stain and finish?

Being in the arkyteckchure biz, I hear of a lot of different materials, but this was a new one on me, so I tried a Google search. And got zip, basically.

Could this have been a brand name? Was there anything distinctive about the way it looked (grain, color, etc)?

I found a UK company named the Tiger Group that makes plywood....maybe that's it. Do they make Tiger Maple plywood?

Tiger plywood is made with two face veneers cut from Siberian Tigers. The inner layers are of a cheaper cat, like tabbies.
