OK, aside from all the nonsense posted in response to my serious question, the best suggestion is to find the manufacturer of my Sears drill press. When I enter "113219211 drill" into Google, the only thing I come up with is my own posting to this group.

How do I tell from the number what the mfg name is?

        Thanks,
        Paul

Take a look at this site. I found it with a Google search for "Sears Manufacturer codes"
          Some Sears codes
          113 is Emerson Electric

Whatever ID plate had that 113.219211 number should have the Sears model number as well; you can use that in the Sears "PartsDirect" link at the top of Sears.com

            got it!

OK, so I called Emerson Electronics in St. Louis MO at 314-553-2000 and they are sending me a manual. That about does it for everything I needed. Thanks everyone for all your help (and humor).
