    Yep, it's T&G glueless laminate. I build a 2x4 frame and square it up where it's going to be installed. Glue and screw 2 pieces of MDF. I cut the Laminate and dry fit, rough sand w/ 60 grit the back of the laminate (to give the glue something to hang onto.) I lightly spray the MDF with water. Next I spread titebond 2 with a Bondo spreader and lay the flooring on top. I put weight evenly on top overnight. Trim out with my favrorite hardwood.

    Based on comments from friends and niegbors, I have seriously thought about building custom benches and selling them.

    I like the materials for several reasons.
    • It's cheap
    • It's dead flat
    • It's extremely durable
    • It's easy to build
    • It looks great, my neighbors drool over them
    • Glue dripping etc. come right off with a sharp scraper
    • It's cheap


    As for the comment about my shop being organized? It was the day after I built the bench and took the pic. Sorry Mr. Kirby (My idol)
