The left tilt version (650) was rated top dog by Wood Mag a couple of years ago. It's highly regarded and considered one of the best made industrial cabinet saws by many.

Family owned and operated, General still does it's own castings in Montreal AFAIK.

        $300 on Ebay??

I saw that listing on Ebay. Have you emailed the guy to check on the price? Looks waaaay low to me as other 350's are listed above $1600.

Emailed the seller on Ebay and here is the response:

        Hello,

Please let me know how much can you offer me for the item right now and I will sell it to you.All the deal will be done safe and legal through eBay under their protection.Don't worry because I will support all the shipping fees.

        Thank you!

Very suspicious...$300 would be a good price on an old beat up used one.....the fence is worth more than $300!

          Edit:
Seems even fishier after I inquired....

              EBay listing removed

As of 4:30 today (2-5), that listing has been removed. Guess our suspicions were warranted.

              Cheers,

I received several e-mails from e-bay saying that this was not a good seller. thanks for all the help. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is proves itself again. HEE HEE HEEE I love it.

I always thought that a chip on the shoulder was a sign of poor dust collection.
