what if you take the filter out, and attach a d/c bag to the exhaust?

I use the bags for my shop vac. They have some that are listed for fine particles like drywall and fireplace ashes. It works really well, but it does fill up quickly.

I'd think that would run the risk of moving stuff through the impeller? If you started to blow chunks, you'd be in trouble. So to speak.
