Craftsman micro torque wrench $26 off. Now $48. 9/16 to 9/18
    I would consider something else.
These do not have lifetime warranty, Husky@HD,and HF ones do. I have both and the Husky is better in 1/2" drive size due to 250

I think I'd try Goo Gone also if the scraper doesn't work. The GG seems to work pretty good on just about anything that sticks where it shouldn't
Lots of luck and post pic's of the finished project.

Goo-Gone works great to remove most adhesives, but it contains citrus oil, which may leave a residue on the wood which will affect its stainability. I usually try to scrape as much as possible off first, then Goo-Gone, then denatured alcohol to remove what's left of the Goo-Gone.

Thanks for the advice. Goo Gone sounds like the stuff to use followed up with some denatured alcohol. I'll remember that!

I'll try to post some pic's of the bench when I'm all done. I only wish that I had taken some "before" pic's prior to undertaking this bench. It's looking better and better though. I know a lot of you seasoned woodworkers probably got a good chuckle when I told you about sanding and staining #2 pine for this bench but actually I'm just trying out new tools and I really need the practice and gained experience. Hopefully my next few projects will have less and less mistakes. This is a great hobby, just wish I had started at it a lot sooner.
