this one is Cedar all fence pickets material, I designed it 2010 and the base was meh.
I made two more and changed out the base of the original to match, using recycled fence posts. One each for the kids. The ten year old bench was in great shape except for the legs which I took off and replaced and pressure washed the top.The 10 years old original the slats were coming up because the 18 ga brads were pulling up and working loose so I put small head countersunk screws in the ends.
I made a pattern routing jig for the curved top spars.
I made it an inch shorter than the original, for ten years I always thought it was an inch too high. Now 17".
Its the kind of thing once you get started with the templates and routing and cutting its as easy to make two as it is to make one.
