Curly maple frame, cherry lid. Walnut support blocks.

I don't think its heavy.
I planed the wood down to 0.5"
that said, 32" is a long run for 1/2" curly maple.

Nice! I like the 'saddles' for the cue to rest in. Most cases I've seen just have a divider down the middle.
