Christmas Village Stand 1

My wife has a number of buildings from Department 56 for her Christmas village and they were getting out of hand during the holidays. When she started her collection, they fit on the hutch in the dining room. When the collection outgrew that the went on the top of an 8 foot wide bookshelf ... then on top of two of those bookshelves. When the collection outgrew those, I made this for her.



It is basically two ladders put together with dominos and 1x12 poplar boards Here it is fully loaded.

Now you just need a train track to wind its way to all the buildings. I don't think your wife has room for any more, though

This one also turned out really well.
