Dude! That came out awesome. The details are great, and the oak looks really nice. Well done!

That is gorgeous. I have the perfect spot in my house for it if it needs some testing.

            Cushions by Pier 1.

Will need to get something nicer, at some point ----- but upholstery is incredibly expensive.

Love the chair. Great looking work!

I agree on the upholstery. LOML wanted to try upholstering a couple of chairs a few months back and found out how expensive material is - Local stores in the Memphis area, or online. I wanted to upholster a sofa when we were in Japan in the late '90s but the material was unusually high back then, from the US or from Japan. The only place we saw decent prices were in Thailand, but we didn't see what we wanted. They had beautiful material, just not what LOML wanted.

Anyone know of a place to order decent prices on upholstery?

Upholstery costs have been astronomical for years it seems. Short of taking a time machine to 1970, I haven't found a reasonable price anywhere.
