    my new router table

    Hello all,
Here's my latest project, a router table. Found an old-school 1hp Craftsman circa 1972 so I had to build something around it!
It replaces a 20-plus-year-old Sears 'Industrial' table that I used to cut shallow angled rabbets into the sides of pool ball racks I make.
I've attached a close-up of one of my rack's corners so you can see the cut.
    Best regards to everyone,
    jim0424.

        Nice table and rack.

How do you cut the angled rabbet? Dovetail router bit?

            Nice!

It's missing diamond plate and neon lights for bling!

I'll add my complements to the crew on both counts! Thinking of building a 9 ball rack. The one I have is plastic.

I think, if you look close, the rabbet is cut at 90 degrees. The inside curve of the corner block starting at the joint creates an optical illusion when viewed from an angle.
