    Something small

Needed a little something to give to my parents for Christmas, so I whipped this up after a couple of days debating how I wanted it to work.

It's a K-Cup holder, for Keurig coffee makers. Holds 30 cups and mounts over the coffee maker and frees up the drawer for other stuff.

Took a plank of poplar, planed it down to about 3/4" and drilled holes. Relieved the holes top and bottom with a chamfer bit. Tried a new technique, sliding dovetails. Came out decently for a first time. Some Johnson's on the pins and I left it unfinished until they can decide paint vs something else. A front may be added as well.

I have a little blog about my shop

That's pretty cool, and very functional too. It'll make use of a lot of unused space.

Nicly done. I'm a huge fan of sliding dovetails.

Very cool... Not a huge fan of those K cup thingies, but I like the solution to an obvious problem...

Great idea - making use of unused space. Nicely done!!

We have a Keurig K cup machine too (good if you only drink one or two cups of coffee). Wife found a wire type holder that fits under the machine and holds about 36 K cups. Gotta have a place to store those K cups!!
