    Valentine's day band saw box.

    Maple with flocked drawer, approximate dimensions 5.75" w X 6" h X 3.5" D.
Finish is Watco Danish Oil and 3 coats of brush on lacquer, light sanding with 320 grit and buffed between coats. Drawer flocking done with DonJerr system, in wine color. (Color was chosen as it was one of the colors we used in our wedding decor).

This is my first non log slice bandsaw box. It was a LOT of fun. I am likely to make a LOT more of these...

Very nice, good color flocking for the wood. Don't you just love working with Maple?
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

I wish it was easier to get around here... That stuff on its own nearly buffs out to a nice shine... And the grain is just awe inspiring...
