I agree with everyone else here. Unique and great looking. AND like Loring, I am curious about that middle section. Now if I was a kid again (and I was once) I would FIND OUT what is there! I might have to pay the consequences for finding out, but I would.

        Hey Guys,

The middle section IS NOT a secret compartment, although it was suppose to be. It's actually a rather large mistake on my part. It was suppose to be a spring activated pin hinged door, leading to a hidden compartment, but I forgot all about that and did the glue up and only remembered the next day. I was so pissed at both that omission and the multitude of errors concerning the beveled mitered sides, I didn't have the strength or the motivation to cut the section free and fix it. So now it's what the software developers say about their mistakes, "It's an undocumented feature or lack thereof.

Very cool design Bruce, I really like the drawer in the base. Great work!

I think my next box project should have drawers and maybe even a secret hidden one - who knows

I guess there's always room for even the belated accolade. Very nice job, indeed. Have you a gallery on photobucket or the like with a showing of your boxes? If not, give it a thought.
                Blessings,
