    Kiddie Storage

LOML needed a place to store the little toys for our daughter. She loved the idea of the storage bin systems you see at the stores, but wanted specific dimensions. The shelf is 3 ft high, 4 ft wide and is constructed with half lap joints. Simple 2 hour project made of about $15 pine, and about $20 in baskets from Target. Shelves are at a slight angle secured by pocket screws from the underside.

Very nice and a lot bigger than the version Target sells (less expensive too). I think I just added a project to my to do list.

Glad to see the pics. The title had me thinking you built a cupboard to pack your kids into

              Looks good.

Those are nice. One of our daughters bought one something like that for the kids. It works really well. Nice job on yours.

That was a very neat idea. A place for all the toys and bright colors; everything a toy storage system SHOULD be.
