      Absolutely agree! I'd never have thought pine could be made to look that good. Very nice and an admonition to those of us with little respect (or love) for pine!

              Low friction tape, old fashioned, no mechanical slides are used.

                i could agree more. its just simply a very beautiful piece that you just built. the hickory sure helps you see the knots. lots of great detail work. i love the corbel concept that you have going. the panels really make this piece special. your daughter is going to be enjoying this one for a very long time!
