    Dresser for my daughter

This is made from pine and the panels are hickory, stained with gel stain and finished with 3 coats of water based poly.

The hickory panels set it off nicely. Makes the knots in the Pine stand out. Great look!

That is beautiful !! Was it made from a plan, or is it your own design?

Looks as if you are having some fun in the shop, Gustoid. Looking good and I am sure your daughter is going to be very proud of dad. Interesting treatment with the corbels and side panels. I'm guessing she won't be satisfied with just the dresser.. but just a guess mind you.

Congratulations on doing a large carcass piece as there is a lot of work and details involved....

That looks fantastic. And a mobile base, even.

I especially like the contrast between the pine and hickory.
