That box looks beautiful. How did you get the lid pieces to fit so perfectly? And, did you do the groove in the front before or after assembly?

The lid: very carefully! Bandsaw cut, careful sanding a little at a time. Took the MOST time. (and the most ruined practice pieces)

The groove: in the base, on the router table AFTER assembly.
