    Gilded arrow of light plaque

My nephew received his Arrow of Light award this evening, and I made him a plaque for the occasion. Sadly I had very little warning, so I literally had to make this yesterday, I had to take 1 or 2 shortcuts, but it turned out ok. It's a solid cherry plaque with a gilded graphic. The finish is USL, 6 coats after 2 coats of tinted shellac.

As a poor ignorant Aussie - please tell me what the award signifies...

Looks good, Keith. Something he will cherish for a long time.

Rod, the Arrow of Light is the highest award in Cub Scouts before bridging over to Boy Scouts.

I am going out today to get the lumber for the 3 that were just ordered.
