    Couple of finished projects

Nothing too exotic. The legs are a commision from a guy who restores old musical instruments, they are mahogany.

The chair was a repair and refurbish project for a friend. One of the rockers was broken so I made a new one and at the same time took apart all the loose joints, reglued and refinished it.

Ditto again! Wow, that shop is clean. Are you trying to knock Rod off his pedistal?

Rod has no worries. Did you see how full the DC bag was?

                Very Cool

With all of this commission work I am not sure you can maintain your amateur status much longer.

So.... What are the proceeds of these commissions going to provide for the shop?

                    LMAO

Larry - you have to be kidding. WHile I try to keep the floor pretty clean as my shop has to do double duty as my garage I think there is more sawdust on the floor right now than I have ever seen in any of Rod's shop photos all put together.

Loring, your eagle eyes must need calibrating as you didnt mention that the shorter one is also a 1/4" thicker

As there is a regular craft & farmers market near me every Saturday I was considering making stuff to sell and setup another small company. That way I could right off all my tools. The catch is I would need to register for sales tax and that would be a real PITA. I am sure I could easily make a few $100 every month but the sales tax issue would be really annoying. I know I could make money but nowhere near enough to make a living.

I already got the HF/Rockler HVLP from the deposit and intend to get a few more clamps at my local rockler when they go on sale this weekend.

nice! was it the left leg in the picture (your right when sitting in the chair) that you replaced on the rocker?
