    well done.

    That's a really nice job on the mobile base. I'm inspired now and will have to get my planer off of the steel stand and onto a mobile cabinet. Are you're wheels double locking? (Not sure if it's needed, but I've seen both types sold).

      Those steel stands are inspired by satan. Or at least you will think so if you read Tom Clark's book. Anytime I go into my shop I just think about how much space is being wasted under the tools that still have them! They are just wasted space.

            so yeah, why do all planer manufacturers have the hose leaving the unit in parallel with the wood, so there's always a support problem - support it or get tangled with the wood?

            You did a nice job handling the hose exit and blast gate.
