    Raised Panel closet doors done

Thanks to all here that gave me some tips on setting up and using my router to make some raised panel doors for a linen closet in one of my bedrooms. This is my first attempt at these type of doors, so like usual I spent waaay too much time on them, but the outcome was worth it.

The picture doesn't do them justice, they really do look and feel nice. I used a panel bit set from Holbren to do all the routing, with my old faithful Makita router mounted in a new Rockler router table. The stiles and rails are solid pine, the interior panels are MDF so there shouldn't be any moisture issues. The other nice thing about the MDF is they are kinda heavy, which really gives the doors some heft, makes them feel really solid and substantial. Each door is ~52" x 15".

It's just too bad that this house is on the market now, I'm gonna hate to leave these behind, but I figure this was a practice run for doing future doors some day.

Hey it looks great! I think I have an application for doors like this too -- to make some use of some space under the stairs.

            Great work!
