      Looks Great

I have an incra jig but haven't managed to get any dovetails routed yet this is another one of those projects that will get me motivated to use those features.

      Thanks for ths post

John, very nice box. What type of router plate do you use? Homemade,
aluminum, or phenolic? I haven't set up my Incra jig yet because I have a
phenolic plate with a crown to it. I keep reading it will be nearly impossible to
make those cuts with a crowned plate.

        Thanks, Paul

Very nice, John. Do the corner post DTs require that you glue a piece of walnut onto the sides and then, cut the DTs into them? Or, is this something which requires the uniqueness of the Incra? I'm a complete yutz when it comes to DTs!
                    Blessings,
                    Chiz

They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words so instead of me trying to explan the way they are cut here is a link to the Incra Jig users manual on page 11 it shows how they are done. http://images.rockler.com/tech/RTD10000168AA.pdf It is really not difficult at all.

Wowzers! How'd you do the posts? By hand I assume. Can you jig a long one & cut it in forths? Or is it too crass to ask when the work is on a more genteel plane?
