    Keepsake box

Made from Maple and walnut. Has cornerpost dovetails. The lid has a lip that fits inside the box to prevent it from sliding off. The finish is a wipe on poly.

That is nice! The corner post dovetail is a feature that may not get much reaction from family and friends, but other woodworkers will notice and appreciate the craftsmanship.
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

That looks very good, John. I too like the dovetails, but I really like the handle on the lid!

Great looking box. The box and the work both look top notch.

              Very nice!

I assume the sides of the box are maple and the cornerposts are walnut. What wood is the top?
