Toddler Bed

As nice as the bed is, I think it's even better that you and your wife worked together on it. The little guy really lucked out!

Very nice bed. I am sure that your son will love it. We are going to have to make a bunk bed for our two boys here soon because our two year old is about out of his crib. Mark and I have an idea for a new bed but I am still debating on if the lower bunk is going to be toddler size or if we should just go with the twin size like the upper bunk.

Unfortunately for your great effort on the bed (um, building the bed ), I see him outgrow that bed in a couple of years. I recommend you plan for then - to produce more (kids, I mean) !

My 3 year old son has a 1 year old sister who will inherit the bed next, I did build the bed to last through 12 children so we will just have to see how many children my wife can handle. I'd hate to upset her, I like her legs a lot (both the 4 wooden ones and the 2 real ones).
