I always enjoy seeing your beautiful work. How about a few more pictures, especially of those great through dovetails. Pat

Way too beautiful to be used as a toy box!

I have to agree with Pappy, much too nice to throw toys in! Those dovetails look great.

I disagree, it's beautiful enough for a toy box. What I mean is this.. My neighbors dad built their daugher a toy box similar to that. It's a gorgeous piece for that room. He's as proud of his dad as he is his daughter. He's bragged about it a ton, which I'm sure is what will happen here. And the first thing he said when he showed it to me, was that his daughter will have that toy box to give to her kids someday.

Here ya go ... BTW those lid stays from LV are the cats meow, with just a nudge on the hinges it takes a few seconds for the lid to close by itself no way the lid could pinch small fingers.

Maybe … but I was cornered by the LOML and my daughter … couldn’t say NO.

One toybox for a grandson now, is a future 'stuff box' for a teenager and beyond.

I love your dovetails and the base looks great also. That'll stay in the family a long long time.
