Fluer de li shelves in curly maple

Made these for the wife, for above her desk. She has a bunch of old toys from her childhood to display upon them. Not a difficult project per se, but time consuming, for sure. That combined with my limited shop lately time made this project stretch out for quite some time.

Let me know what you think....

I am disappointed that you didn't draw the cutouts freehand! ;-)
          Good job.

Nice design on the brackets, Keith. The figure in the wood is nothing short of fantastic!

You have a more steady hand than I, my friend. Your scroll saw work is impecable as is your choice of the curly maple. If it turns out that she doen't like them or she gets tired of them, well, you know...

Very nice. The scroll work on the supports is very sharp. That and the use of curly maple sure takes a "simple" project and turns it into a beautiful piece.
