The tile grout appears white but it is not. (almond, same color as toilet).
The floor grout was perfect (when wet) and was a nice rich brown (matching the color swatch on the bag *cough*) before inexplicably drying to almost the same color as the wall grout.
That will be getting sealed with a colored sealant to get the right color.
The recessed vanity (13" deep) is glued up and curing right now.

Looks great! I've done a couple bathrooms from scratch but nothing this nice. Mine had a tub/shower (with tile surround) and a one piece shower. When the one piece in our bathroom wears out, I'd like to replace it with something like this.

Great Job
Fiasco,
Great looking stuff. One question. Why did you leave the ~8" of space on the sides of vanity instead of going to the walls? Something like that seems like wasted space to me, but I am not on your end of things.

Several reasons.
1) I liked it and so did they. I think it is more asthetically pleasing. Symmetry with the matched recessed vanity mirror I just finished.
2) The cost of the granite top would have went up considerably over the stock 61" length (I paid only $200 for a granite top, backsplash and sink). An 8" spread on the faucet handles is preferred too, but was it worth nearly $200 additional cost to have a 61" long 8" spread custom top made?
3) I have "contracter" sized equipment ...sears bt3 clone, ryobi planer, 6" jointer with a surface deck the size of an aircraft carrier (If your playing the game battleship). I can't properly dimension wood much longer then 50".Comment
