My in-laws were so impressed by my basement bathroom that they gave me carte blanche on remodelling their bathroom.

Diagonal layout is easy if you have one leg either lengthened or shortened by 12".

The good news is they didn't ask to move in.... the bad news is you hung yourself "out to dry" for future projects. ha.. ha...

Nice work.. when can you drop by and catch that tile floor in my second bathroom?

I'm adding a bathroom to My GrandDaughters bedroom, tile work this good is welcome at any time. Bill

This is only my 3rd bathroom. I'm still learning from my mistakes (and there are some in that tile job). For example, the top bullnose at the upper edge of the shower is is 1/2" off center from the bullnose surrounding the inset.... duh. I don't know what I was thinking when I did that.

If you are calling those mistakes, you can practice on my bathroom anytime!! In fact wife want to redo main bath. I trying to convince her just painting it will do wonders!!
