Outstanding job Gary. I've never been able to muster that much energy for a shop project, but you've done so and it will doubtlessly make your work more enjoyable.Keith Z. Leonard

Excellent job.
What is the lowest you let your table to? (that should help determine jack/lifting method.
Are the risers just doubled up 2x's?
That is on my to do list of course, but what I was wanting to try, is to either center, or place in, under a shorter leg/riser, a bottle jack like HF #93373.
Since you have the drawings/measurements, I thought I would swing it by you.
By the way, when are you gonna drop it off, and build your second, easy lifting version?

Lowest table top height now is ~27" with no pegs inserted. I've looked at both of these and am wondering about the controlability of the air jacks. I'd loose about 2" in minimum height or so.What is the lowest you let your table to? (that should help determine jack/lifting method.

Boy, nobody likes a wise guy - LOL!! Actually, you just beat me to it - I get second dibs, though!
I really like how you have incorporated the adjustable height into your workbench. I'd be afraid that my abilities would leave me with a perpetually wobbling top. Oh yea, love the vise too!!
Later,
Chiz
PS Keep us posted on which jack option works out for you.Blessings,

Very nicely done AND very useful as well. I made my bench with wheels and at a hight that works as an outfeed for the saw and I've been really happy with it. After seeing yours, I'm wishing I'd thought of making mine with an adjustable hight. I think that will prove very handy. Well done.
