Workbench / Assembly Table complete *PIC intensive*

Thanks to Vanguard and Woodguy1975 for the inspiration for this project.

Table top is a torsion box bordered by 8/4 Ash. Base and drawers are Baltic Birch Plywood. Face frame is red oak. Finish is Zinsser Seal Coat and Arm-R-Seal. Vice came from Grizzly - notice the dog holes in the apron and vice (I let the pins in to make it more visible).

Six adjustments on height are possible - this setting puts the top 1/16" below my table saw top so it doubles as an outfeed table.

    Again, thanks for the inspiration.

Oooohhh, me like! Surprising (to me) how well the white drawer handles go with it.

              Nice looking table.
              Good Job!
How easy is it to lift the top to adjust the height?
Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! -Rocky Balboa-

Very hard now since the top is so heavy - I'm looking for a cheap jack solution or motorize it like woodguy did on his.

WOW!! Very impressive. Just curious, roughly how much did all the parts cost?

Two Automotive scissors jacks from the junkyard are cheap enough, could be temporary or permanent solution, and take very little space. Vertical post truck jacks might be tougher to incorporate but still cheap and get you raised faster.
