    Night Table finally done

This is one of 2 night tables I just finished.

I used hard maple for the tabletop, legs an drawer front, and birch ply for the sides and bottom shelf, for the drawer I used pine.
Sanded to 220, Sealcoat, 2 coats of minwax Cherrywood gel stain and 4 coats of wipe on poly.

It had a lot of fun making this, This Is my first project using hardwood , I got to use many of my tools and I got some excuses to buy some more

I learned a lot with this project, Man! Maple is hard to stain!

    Thanks for watching

Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! -Rocky Balboa-

Very sharp. Stain seems to blend the ply and solid wood well. Pat

              Well done!

You did a masterful job getting a consistent reveal around the inset drawer.
