Witch router bits did you use for the top detail? I like it

For the top I used a Classic Roman Ogee Bit and a small round over bit. The grove in the face piece is just a small bull nose but. The base was formed using a large round over bit.

I would put my foot down John.. Tell her in no un-certain terms, "NO.. this wood is junk and not fit for my wife".. then rip it from her trembling hands and drop it by the nearest Good Will. And make sure you make her go with you to see you drop it and remind you to get the reciept for tax write-off.
