Did you encounter any problems during the construction of this box?

I don’t see any glue lines so I’m assuming this box is not laminated but made from a solid piece of wood.

If I made a modification to the top I don't know what was, the copy I had printed out is approx 5 1/4" wide at the top and about 10 1/2" tall. This one is laminated with 5 pieces of stock and is 3 1/4" deep.
Being scroll saw challenged the drawer openings were a bit of a pita

Thanks again for the plan. Most of this kind of stuff I give away but this one I may keep. Pat

It’s kind of strange for me to see a plan that you’ve worked on come to life in the hand of someone else.

                  Pat,

That is truly a keeper. Well executed. I made LOML a little Ikebana Vase that has a "crack". I know how hard it was to cut and finish.

What keeps the top 4 drawers from tipping in the opening?

                    Pat,

As many others have already said, this does look really nice. I hope to take this project on some day down the road. I was wondering, what is the diameter for the hardware knobs that you used here? I happen to be purchasing a couple of the 50" jet clamps on sale at Rockler, and I might as well spend a little extra for the $10 gift card if there is something else I "need". They have a bunch of "sash" knobs on clearance for $0.99, and I figured I would add 12 of them for this project in the future...

The openings are canted slightly outboard on the top two/four drawers. Drawer pulls are approx 1/4" dia beads secured with brass nails. Pat

Great looking box (s). Nice finish. Looks like you can peel 'em apart. Maybe the wood is Brazilian Cherry.

love the box Pat...One question for you. I was looking at the plan and the picture of your box, and was trying to figure out where the kerf entered / exited when you were cutting out the drawers. Did you enter/exit on the side, and then clamp to close the gap?

I'm new to the band saw / band saw boxes, and haven't figured this part out yet. I have the "beautiful band saw boxes" book that everyone recommends, but those boxes seem to feature the kerf openings as part of the design.

                            thanks,
