Don't know how to resize pic, cant post

I've got some pics that are apparently too big of a file to post and I'm clueless as how to change so that I can post? help anyone or can I send them to some one else and they can post?!

don't feel bad. I can't figure it out either and gave up trying. I upload them to webshots and link them.

I don't like features that aren't user friendly and this is definitely one of them.

If at first you don't succeed, deny you were trying in the first place.

            hey it worked

            Thanks Rodkirby,

This is a lighted window frame to a place I wish I could get away to.
My friend used a special press system to put a digital picture on the back side of the clear tiles, I made the frame and installed the light. I believe the wood is Mahogony? I've made a few cutting boards and one chess board but this is the first real hard thing i've built.

Late to the party but for future ref, here's how you do it with tools that already come with Windows.

have the picture on your computer. If you took it with a camera with more than 1 mega-pixels it probably needs to be resized. I would suggest editing size with the PAINT.EXE program provided with virtually all Windows computers. found under START->PROGRAMS->ACCESSORIES->PAINT. Open the picture with FILE->OPEN->, and view at 100%. Click on IMAGE->ATTRIBUTES to see how big it is in pixels. Use IMAGE->STRETCH&SKEW to change the size, I suggest using
50%, 33%, 25% or 20% (1/2, 1/3, 1/4 or 1/5) to get the cleanest resize and a picture size of around 300 to 400 pixels on a side. Use the same Horizontal and vertical stretch. Say the original image was 1600 x 1200 pixels then a 25% reduction in both H&V would give 400x300. The actual picture size will be 1/16th of the original size!
Don't forget to save it (select JPG as the type) and don't use punctuation or spaces in the name, it's OK on the PC but BT3central doesn't like it. The size savings (your pics should now be under 100K) will allow you to store many pics on the space BT3central has allocated for you as well as make it easy to download and view for others.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

That's pretty cool. Can you give us more info on your friend's press, too? I'd
be interested to see if there's a service on the Internet that could do this.

                    Thanks, Paul

Only--Terrific for a first or last effort. When I was a Public Defender, I had a windowless office. I had a poster that looked like a window with the beach behind. I used to stare out the "window" a lot.
