        Beautiful piece Andy! Having done one myself, I KNOW how much work you put into it. I really like the way the finish turned out. I never considered a dye followed by a stain. The combination worked perfectly.

            This project was my excuse to get a mortising machine. Got the Delta 14-651 I think, the better of the two Delta machines. I was not about to attempt cutting 74 mortises by hand. The Delta just flew though them, the hardest part was setting the chisel properly. Still not sure if I set it right.
