              Wow dash, nice job.

When I first saw the title to this thread, I swear I thought it was going to be about a joke about football . Didn't realize it was in Finished Projects.

That beautiful hunk of wood had an even nicer bowl hiding inside. Great job getting it to "come out".

i had to use one of those sanding disks (with all the little sheets of sandpaper (80 grit)) to get some of the parts smooth. Then it took a while to get those scratches out with 120. Then up to 400 and then steel wool.
on my bubinga bowl that came out ok I didnt sand enough I realize now and those spots probably would have came out better had I spent more time sanding...

                          Sweet!

What size is it and where do you get the blanks? Your bowls are very nice!

I get em at woodcraft. It was 6x6x3.
I started another one and was working on it last night and when I put it back in the chuck it started to crack. Guess I cranked it to tight. I put superglue on it and will try to see if I can finish it without it breaking in half.
