That is very nice. Great looking wood. All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible

Wow dash, nice job.
When I first saw the title to this thread, I swear I thought it was going to be about a joke about football . Didn't realize it was in Finished Projects.Comment

That beautiful hunk of wood had an even nicer bowl hiding inside. Great job getting it to "come out".Larry R. Rogers

i had to use one of those sanding disks (with all the little sheets of sandpaper (80 grit)) to get some of the parts smooth. Then it took a while to get those scratches out with 120. Then up to 400 and then steel wool.
on my bubinga bowl that came out ok I didnt sand enough I realize now and those spots probably would have came out better had I spent more time sanding...YOU DONT HAVE TO TRAIN TO BE MISERABLE. YOU HAVE TO TRAIN TO ENDURE MISERY.Comment

I get em at woodcraft. It was 6x6x3.
I started another one and was working on it last night and when I put it back in the chuck it started to crack. Guess I cranked it to tight. I put superglue on it and will try to see if I can finish it without it breaking in half.YOU DONT HAVE TO TRAIN TO BE MISERABLE. YOU HAVE TO TRAIN TO ENDURE MISERY.Comment
