    More Bandsaw Boxes

Here are two more boxes from the same piece of aromatic cedar as my previous Bandsaw Box thread. There was also a fourth box but it made it's way into the mail to my Mom before I thought about taking pictures. The darker box was finished with Danish Oil (3 coats) and a top coat of paste wax. It didn't start out with handles but the Danish Oil turned the knot in the center black which was really distracting so I made handles to cover it up a little. The lighter one is finished with paste wax only. I left the inside of the drawers unfinished to preserve the aroma.

    Thanks for looking.

You've done good, your use of the features of the timber is excellent.
