    Thanks for the warm fuzzies, folks. Both projects were fun and relatively easy. The mallet heads are similar to super balls. Picked up a bag of 12 at one of the party stores for about $3.

    The bed was the easier of the 2 since there weren't any plans or exact dimensions too worry about. The posts were turned by eye to be a close match and I had the leeway to adjust the stringers as needed.

    I was going to make a twin but the wife said it needed to be a double bed and long enough for Ken too fit. When I went to get the Ken doll out for the size, I saw she had two dolls of Barbie's friends. I asked if I should make it a Claifornia King, in case Ken got really lucky!

      Good job. The picture of the bed almost looks full size until you realize its not on the floor. If you put a piece of something to mimic a wall behind the headboard it would look like a normal human sized bed.
      Good reference for a full size one though...
