    Coffee Table

    Good day

Just not to make the impression that I'm building jigs all the time...

I made this coffee table in Japan and "dragged" it with me to Israel and than to Poland.

Designer, SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed).
    Wood Lauan
    Top size, 24" x 48"

The first version was finished just with clear varnish
But "we" decided that "we" want to strip it, stain and varnish it again

Personally I like the unstained version, but you know... SWMBO...

A well traveled table, to be sure. Looks great!
              Measure it with a micrometer...
              Mark it with a crayon...
Cut it with a chain saw!

Very nice table Niki. So you can build stuff then. I do actually like the redone one myself but then I really do like darker furniture. Not to say the first version didn't have more character.

Very nice work. I liked the oroginal color better. But I understand when SWMBO speaks.

Not until we see pictures of your shop with sawdust on everything... Well nevermind!!

Both versions look great but personaly I like the lighter colour (with the handles from the second version).

It will be very difficult to see saw dust in my garage, I'm cleaning everyday, not because I want but because the car must go into the garage every night.

What you see in the pic is not Saw dust but Snow dust.
