Looks absolutely great ... gives me some ideas ... in the process of actually building a log cabin birdhouse for my dad ... not anywhere as nice as these!!!

WOW!!! So do you rent / lease / sell the rooms to the birds!?? Not sure I want them paying me!!

OK seriously, why in the picture with the cat the bird holes (doors, opening, whatever) looks like they are not drilled all the way thru?? What do those things sell for?? I'm assuming your selling them to people.

Thanks everyone for all the great replies.
The reason some of the holes are not drilled is because some rooms have more then 1 window.
There are 16 apartments but over 22 windows.
I don,t really build them to sell.
I would like to build a wack of them then sell patterns for them.
I am doing an article soon for a Canadian woodworking magazine and i am attempting to set a world record for having the worlds largest birdhouse.
It is 9 ft wide and 8 1/2 ft high

I love the cat sitting on the porch waiting to "welcome" the birds. Excellent work John. Just a little bit more "extreme" and you'd have a great kids play house.

                            Thanks Larry
I built this play house just over a year ago. the framing is made from reclaimed wood.
I have been thinking about designing a few playhouses.
