Have you worked with Cherry before (smell would give it away if you have)? Looks like cherry or mahogony (color, knots) for the legs, etc but the top is a good question. Looks like some of that crazy Texas stuff.
You did a nice job with M&T joints on legs that small. Not a lot to work with there considering you had to 45 degree mortise joints there!
